Thomas Chalmers was a versatile man, brilliant student, lauded mathematician who brought vital change to impoverished Scotland in the 1800’s. He journeyed the path from self-sufficiency to Christ-sufficiency. This visionary man understood the importance of Christ-like virtue and sought to edify the Church in his native Scotland.
