Mrs. Sheppard’s Music class had many visitors this week! Meet Don Key-ote, the Music loving Donkey, Presto the Tiger and Largo the Turtle!

Music class had fun writing rhythms in the Pop Stick Challenge.

The Grammar School Summer Reading Bingo celebration was a hit! Well done to our summer readers!

Upper School News

21 School of Rhetoric students were inducted into the houses of Chalmers, Wilberforce, ten Boom, and Liddell last Thursday. The House System is a favorite tradition of School of Rhetoric students. The following week they went to Hidden Falls Ranch for a wonderful two days of games, worship, and fun.


The high school guys cooked out on their lunch break last week on game day.

Athletics News

8th grade volleyball girls placed second in the San Jacinto tournament. Way to go!

Lincoln Fleischman ran in the Plains Cross Country Meet and finished 7th place. Not only is that awesome, but he competed in the race less than 12 hours competing in our Football game! Great job Lincoln, and way to represent KPA!

Congrats to our Varsity FB boys as they defeated Lorenzo 54-42 last Friday night.The crowd was outstanding and it was a fun night of football! Then, last night at Wilson, they defeated Lazbuddie 46-0. Current record is 3-0. Go Warriors!

KPA played Christ the King last night for their FIRST EVER DISTRICT GAME and WON in four sets. The scores were 25-11, 22-25, 25-12, 26-24.

Emma Steele had 9 aces; Bella Rodgers had 5 aces, 9 kills, and 24 digs; Natalie Poe had 13 kills.
