All-School News

Our hearts are saddened at the loss of Marilyn Lashaway, mom of Lily (12th grade), Ben (9th grade), and Sam (7th grade), and wife of Jeff. Please keep the Lashaway family in your prayers.

Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 pm, with family receiving friends from 5:00-7:00 pm, Sunday, August 25, 2019 at the Venue on Broadway. Services will be at 10:00 am, Monday, August 26, 2019 at First Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.

Athletics News

The Kingdom Prep Warriors varsity volleyball team fought so hard and had very close sets against the Talkington Lady Warriors Tuesday night. Talkington left KPA’s home court with 3 sets to KPA’s 1 set.

Natalie Poe led serves with 18, 4 of which were aces. Natalie followed in passes with 18, 7 of which were perfect. Natalie also led in attacks with 53, 12 of which were kills. Natalie led the digs with 51 throughout the evening.

Bella Rodgers led passes with 32, 16 of which were absolutely perfect. Bella just barely followed in attacks with 49, but led in kills with 15. Bella followed Natalie with 27 digs.

Emma Steele followed in serves with 18, 2 of which were aces.

The junior high teams pray together before their games. The players wore purple bows in their hair to show their support for the Lashaway family.
