Sat 10/6 6th grade trip to Carlsbad Caverns

Fall School of Rhetoric Service Project @ Lubbock Dream Center; 8th grade garage sale
Monday 10/15:
Senior parent meeting (6:00 PM); Parent appreciation & Community update (come @ 6:30 for coffee from Gold Stripe and treats; required for one parent to attend in order to register children for spring semester)

Congratulations to Mrs. Castner and her family on the birth of Elisabeth Kayte! Elisabeth was born on Tuesday evening. Mrs. Castner and baby are both doing great.

We had a blast showing our WARRIOR PRIDE this week during Homecoming and Spirit Week! GO WARRIORS! Below are a few pictures from Spirit dress-up days, Wednesday’s pep rally, and Thursday’s Powder Puff game.

Athletics News

This week’s athletics results:

HS Football: Defeated Odessa W. Texas Homeschool 57-7; overall record 2-2.
JH Football: Defeated St. Andrews 36-6; overall record 4-0-1.
HS Volleyball: High School Volleyball girls faced the Warriors from Southcrest this past Tuesday night.  Despite some great plays JV lost 0-2 and Varsity lost 0-3.
JH Volleyball: 9/20 vs. St. Andrews: 7th grade: 21-25 (l), 29-27 (w), 19-25 (l); 8th grade: 8-25 (l), 18-25 (l)
9/24 vs. Talkington: 7th grade: 17-25 (l), 18-25 (l); 8th grade: 10-25 (l), 20-25 (l)
The high school football team had some fun with beach football this week!
On Friday, the Booster Club/Homecoming Committee hosted a lunch for Upper School Football, Spirit Squad, and coaches.
